This place has such friendly staff that you want to take them home. The fish is locally caught and well prepared. There was no problem having the generous servings split... read more for two which was all we could comfortably eat and makes Bermuda meals very affordable. We met a very friendly vagrant outside on the street who was very entertaining and enthusiastic about the place. I asked if he worked there. He said no. After the third time we saw him there I asked if he were following us. He said no. The next night I realized he must be the owner or they would have chased him off. He owned up to it. Very entertaining! We could eat there twice a day for a week without tiring of it.

Wahoo Restaurant/ bar/ bistro is a real treat. My wife and I went there for evening meals and lunch. It is mainly a fish/ seafood lovers menu but there are both meat and veggie burgers. Portions are large, American size, so be aware of that when ordering extras etc. Each visit we had a variation on Wahoo, delightfully grilled to perfection. Lovely fresh crisp salads, one time I had a bowl of chips for a treat (french fries) and they were very nice, light and crisp. All washed down with a crisp Island brewery lager, very nice. Wine is avaialble by the glass or bottle, Stella Artois also available on draught. I noted white Pinot was around $46 a bottle, lager around $9.50 an Imperial pint. The Wahoo salad was around $25, specials can be pricey and NO prices are displayed on the specials board so beware. The Tri-fish combo was $37 (glad I didn't order that as it was fried). A couple of puddings were ordered, a very pleasant chocolate bread pudding with Goslings rum custard, nice. All told this was a great place to eat, lively, great staff who are very attentive. If you can stand being pestered by bees book a table out on the decking. You may be lucky as the chef comes out and feeds the fish and there are some beauties to see, including moray eels, very entertaining.

After a a good day out in St George, my friend and I decided to lunch out at this bistro. The ambience and interior were in keeping with its location... read more overlooking the beautiful bay. The staff service, food and drink choices were good. There were lots of yummy sounding dishes to choose from and made it difficult to choose just one dish! We had wahoo nuggets as starters and lobster specials stuffed with crab meat for our mains. Wow they were sublimely fingers licking good! We will certainly be returning here in our next Bermuda trip. To avoid disappointment, a table reservation will be very wise!

We love to eat out early: best seats, staff energized and chefs eager to get the food out. We were NOT disappointed. To our surprise there was live local music... read more from a guy named "Shine" and although he had to play moderately so diners could talk he did not miss a note with his flute and saxophone. A real delight that filled in the gap from ordering the food.... to delivery. The service was excellent with the waitress having a nice personality and asking if we needed anything else. Then the food arrived after our cocktail. We ordered the fish trio only to see the natives celebrating their lobster season. Those lobsters were flying out of the kitchen and looked so good. But when our trio arrived we were NOT disappointed. The peas and rice was fresh and tasty and the coleslaw delicious and beautiful presented. The fish had the local tartar sauce appropriately served in a separate container and with an additional relish that was to die for. 3 pieces of fish and 3 distinct taste each complimenting the other. Our table was absolutely quiet and the noise in the restaurant also declined what with all of those lobsters coming out. This was a meal fit for a king and BIG Henry VIII would have been delighted. We really did not know how we could eat all of it so we took our time and the fried banana, done to perfection, with the tasty fish means we will return. Pictured right by the sea with terrace and indoor dining it made our night.
